|At the Künstlerhaus Lukas, our scholarship program covers four different types of grant for applicants:
One-month residence grants at the Künstlerhaus Lukas help applicants develop and realize their own artistic projects in the fields of the visual arts, literature, composition and dance performance.
One-month exchange scholarships with selected partner institutions across Northern Europe help applicants develop their own artistic projects and promote intercultural exchange, with the option of applying special working methods.
Two-month grants for curators help applicants develop and realize their outstanding proposals for the presentation of contemporary art at the Neues Kunsthaus in Ahrenshoop, incorporating the works of previous scholarship recipients at the Künstlerhaus Lukas.
Two-week workshop grants promote cooperation among artist groups and assist the groups with presenting their results at the Ahrenshoop Lange Nacht der Kunst.
Please note that past scholarship recipients are not permitted to apply again until at least five years after their residency at the Künstlerhaus Lukas or our partner institutions. This rule does not apply to curator or workshop grants, which can be applied for regularly every two years.
In addition, every year it is possible to use an application via partner institutions for scholarships on the Künstlerhaus Lukas program, for which separate funding guidelines apply.
