Job Offer Internship
At Künstlerhaus Lukas and its affiliated event venue, Neues Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop, we offer internships that can be pursued alongside your studies.
An internship is open to Bachelor's and Master's students in the fields of arts, humanities, and business. The aim of the internship is to learn the processes and work techniques relevant to cultural institutions. The internship position includes the following responsibilities:
Participation in the ongoing scholarship program at Künstlerhaus Lukas and the event operations at Neues Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop.
Involvement in event planning and implementation (researching content for project development, assisting with grant applications, organizing artistic projects).
Support in press and public relations, as well as editorial work on publications.
Routine office tasks, archive management, and database maintenance.
Requirements for the internship:
Demonstrable interest in artistic practice and current discourses (motivation letter with possible recommendations).
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Very good German language skills at the C1/C2 level or equivalent to a native speaker.
Good English language skills.
Proficiency with computer applications.
The duration of the internship is a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks.
Please understand that the internship must be part of your studies, as we currently do not offer voluntary internships. You can apply for a mandatory full-time internship with a weekly workload of 40 hours as part of your studies. During the internship period, we provide free accommodation in a studio at Künstlerhaus Lukas and a small financial support.
